Ritu Srivastava, representing Jadeite Solutions, has over 14 years of experience in the development sector specifically focusing on the Information, Communication and Technology (ICT) domain, using digital technology towards sustainable development of underprivileged communities / marginalised sections of society.Besides having a fair exposure in social development sector, she has worked with corporate sectorMacmillan India Pvt Ltd, Sage Publications, KPMG, Nucleus Software. She has extensive experience in leading research and developmentprojects for national and international agencies in areas of e-Governance, broadband policies, gender & access, gender and internet governance, violence against women, gender and privacy, open spectrum policies and community development. Her current work revolves around creating safe community spaces and understanding the connectivity from gender lens. She has conducted various research around Spectrum; Cost-benefit analysis of national optic fibre cable, relationship between freedom of expression and access. She has participated in various national and international conferences, including the UN Human Rights Council, WSIS. She holds a Masters' degree in Electronics & Telecommunications from IIT- Delhi.
