Women Setting the IGF agenda 2006

Women participants at the first Internet Governance Meeting (IGF) came together and issued a statement to articulate the necessity of integrating gender in this forum for policy discussions around internet governance. This input serves to bring attention to our observations on the contributions of women in this Forum, and to call on the IGF to build on this positive experience and broaden the added value in the various activities of the IGF.
