Tools for Development: Using Information and Communications Technology to achieve the Millennium Development Goals

The working document was presented at WSIS side events in Geneva, in December 2003 as part of the UN ICT Task Force's development of a comprehensive conceptual framework that underscores the role that ICTs play in the overall development agenda. The analysis is based on the eight Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), which includes the promotion of gender equality and empowerment of women.
