Zeenathunnisa is a zonal lead for Janodaya Trust, where she coordinates the setting up and running of shelters for survivors of domestic violence. Previously, she was a field worker for Domestic Workers' Rights Union where she organised domestic workers in several pockets of Bengaluru. This was in addition to her administrative and book-keeping responsibilities.
