Sabeen Yameen

Sabeen Yameen is an architect and artist from Karachi, Pakistan. Sabeen is inspired by the enchantment and whimsy hidden in the everyday, ordinary moments. She practices independently in Lahore, and also works as a designer and animator for Miss O and Friends, a safe social platform for young girls. She created Pakistan’s first official Women’s Day IG filter in collaboration with Facebook. She has also worked as an animator for Sophia Balagamwala’s animated short Whereabouts Unknown / Ata Pata Maloom Nahi, which was screened at Paul Mellon Centre for London Asia Artwolds Conference 2021, and her work has been published in In The Streets of Brazil magazine. Her recent projects include designing a visual identity for the Karachi Down Syndrome’s Program’s Down syndrome awareness campaign, #PyaarBaanto. In her spare time, Sabeen loves to cook and devise new recipes to share with people around her. Check her instagram here.
