Mumbi Kanyogo
Mumbi Kanyogo is a rising MSc Candidate in the African Studies program at the University of Oxford. Previously she has conducted research on social mobility and institutional memorialization, as well as digital and physical feminist movements in East Africa. More broadly she is interested in thinking about transnational feminisms, Black precarity, Black internationalism, care economies and (African) queer studies. In her free time, she loves to explore art galleries and museums, and is equally content binge watching Netflix shows or baking pies.
