One of the founders of Institute KAPAL Perempuan (Women's Alternative Education Circle) in 2000 after being active for 5 years in Solidaritas Perempuan organization. Currently the Director of Institute KAPAL Perempuan, a social organization that works and pays special attention to marginalized groups, especially women and marginalized groups in various remote areas in Indonesia.
More than 25 years of intensive work in the women's movement, working to empower women in various parts of Indonesia through alternative education, namely critical education as a strategy to strengthen the women's movement to realize a society with social justice, gender equality and inclusiveness. The strongest experience is developing initiatives in women's organizing, gender data development, data-based advocacy, building CSO networks and critical education with a feminist and pluralism perspective.
The highest education successfully completed is graduate (S2) Sociology, Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) University of Indonesia.
While leading KAPAL Perempuan, several awards have been achieved, namely the Soetandyo Award-FISIP Airlangga University Surabaya, the Minister of Home Affairs Award for the category of organizations for women's empowerment, and the latest in 2022 is the Indonesian Businesswomen's Association (IWAPI) Award and SDGs Award from the Minister of BAPPENAS of the Republic of Indonesia.
