Joan Njeri
Joan Njeri uses media to tell Africa's transformative stories by showing how we are changing our communities’ narratives and fostering positive social impact. Her first film was Kaleidoscope as a production manager. The film was an official selection for the Zanzibar International Film Festival 2017 shortlisted under the Short Film category. It was also nominated for the 2017 Kalasha Film & TV Awards, the Best Short Film category. She has worked as a Co- producer for the short film The Read, as Production manager on the short documentary Zumari and Producer for the short film The Good Child. She is currently producing the documentary Films Defying Ashes, Shadow Runner and short docs for BARN. She was selected for the One World Media Global Short Docs Forum 2020, European Film Market Doc-ToolBox Program 2022, Durban FilmMart Institute Alumni Business Lab 2022, and Ouaga Film Lab 2022.
